Addison Rotary Meeting

Meeting opened at with the Pledge, Rotary motto, prayer and lunch.

Bill Schaub announced that the citrus fruit was delivered Wednesday morning and is available for pickup at MacGill, 1000 Lombard Rd in Lombard . Some additional fruit was ordered if anyone needs some extras. Profit for the sale came in just under $3000.

Brunch with Santa will be held in the Village Hall Rotunda on Sunday, December 16 from 10:30 am-1:30 pm.

Santa will also be making an appearance at National Bank of Commerce, 1640 W. Lake Street on Saturday, December 15. Children will be given goody bags and can have their picture taken with Santa. Choirs from Concord Lutheran School and St. Philip the Apostle School will be performing at 10am and 11am.

The TV raffle winner will be chosen at the December 19 meeting. The gift exchange is also taking place next week. Purchase, wrap and bring a $20 gift to that meeting.

Car raffle tickets must be sold.

There will be an officers' meeting at 11:30am on December 19.

Scott Helton introduced Addison Trail's Shades of Blue vocal group and their director, Jeff Kust. The students performed a variety of Christmas songs. Don thanked the group for attending the meeting and announced that Rotary had given a donation to the group.
