Addison Rotary Meeting Members present:
The 35th Anniversary/ Christmas outing will be held at Pheasant Run on Friday, December 12 at 5:45p.m. Evening includes dinner and “A Christmas Story”. Don Hendricks sent out a reminder email. Anyone planning to attend must respond to him by Monday, December 1. Jim Krage suggested that we plan to have more of a ‘sit and visit' type of anniversary celebration when the club's 40 th anniversary comes around and that we make every effort to contact former members in order to share memories of Rotary. There will be NO meeting on Christmas Eve, December 24. The gift exchange will be held on Wednesday, December 18. Addison Trail's Shades of Blue will come early on that day to sing and enjoy lunch with the club. Bill Schaub brought signs and cards for the Citrus Sale. Rotarians must turn in orders to him on Wednesday, December 3. He will place the order on Friday, December 5. It will be shipped on Monday, December 8 in order to be available for pickup at McGill on December 11 & 12. It was suggested that all members be called to remind them to turn in orders. It was also suggested that the sale begin earlier next year—right after Labor Day—in order to give more time for members to share sale information with various other clubs and organizations. The meeting adjourned at 1:15p.m.
