Addison Rotary Meeting

November 21, 2007

Meeting opened at with the Pledge, Rotary motto, prayer and lunch.

Don Hendricks reminded members that the Rotary Christmas outing at Pheasant Run has been scheduled for Thursday, December 20. Eleven people are planning to attend so far. Dinner will be at Harvest House followed by a Christmas comedy.

Members are encouraged to keep selling car raffle tickets.

Citrus fruit orders are due Wednesday, November 28. Bill Schaub will be sending the order in on November 30.

The ATHS choir will sing at the Rotary meeting on December 12.

A Christmas gift exchange is scheduled for the December 19 meeting. Purchase and bring a $20 gift to that meeting.

The Rotary will consider making a donation to the Addison Switchboard.

Village Tree Lighting is scheduled for Friday, November 30 at 6:30 p.m. The Rotary will be singing two Christmas songs with the Indian Trail Show Choir and the Kiwanis. There will be a practice at Indian Trail on Thursday, November 29.

Dominic Pantano, the President and CEO of National Bank of Commerce, was introduced. Dominic was a Rotarian for 25 years.

Aydin Leylani, Vice President, Commercial Loans for National Bank of Commerce, was also introduced. Aydin is a member of Villa Park 's Rotary Club.

George Ellefsen made a motion to register the Addison Rotary website with the Yahoo web host at a cost of $12.95 per month. Motion was seconded by Cal George. Motion carried.

Dominic Pantano won the weekly raffle.
