Addison Rotary Meeting

The meeting opened with “ America ”, the pledge, the 4-way test and prayer.

Cal George welcomed guests, Pete Call, a chiropractor in Addison, and Chuck Wartman, School District 4's incoming Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services. Chuck will be District 4's Rotary representative.

The Installation dinner for new officers will be held at Solace 601, 601 W. Army Trail Blvd , on Friday, June 26. 6pm social hour, 7pm dinner. Member dinners will be paid for by the club. Dinner for spouses/guests will cost $16.00. Please reserve your spot by contacting Cal .

The District Governor's Installation is Sunday, June 28 at 3:00pm. Don Hendricks and Gary Sinagra will be attending

A fundraising raffle will be held. Raffle tickets will cost $5 each or a book of 6 for $20. Bill Schaub will print 5,000 tickets. All proceeds raised will be used for scholarships.

The club will focus on a membership drive in fall, working in partnership with Itasca/Wood Dale clubs.

Bob Smith announced that Nick Heidtbrink from MacGill will serve as treasurer for the upcoming year. Bob Smith, Nick Heidtbrink and George Ellefsen will be the authorized signers for the club's bank accounts.

Bob also distributed the speaker schedule for the next 4 months.

Gary Sinagra thanked the Rotary Club for its sponsorship at the MCCD golf outing on June 15. The outing was fun and very successful.
