Addison Rotary Meeting January 2, 2008 Members present:
Meeting opened at with the song, Pledge, Rotary motto, prayer and lunch. Bill Schaub announced that he has some remaining cases of fruit which can be purchased for $10/case. It was suggested that any unsold cases be donated to Lutherbrook. Cal George made speaker schedules available to members who had not yet received them. George Ellefsen announced that a date will be chosen in February to host a dinner for Addison Trail's Interact Club members. 48 car raffle tickets were sold to Rotary members, 54 tickets were sold to the public and 50-60 more tickets were turned in today. Jase Burns was invited to select the winning raffle ticket for the car lease raffle. George Ellefsen 's ticket was drawn. George announced that he would take the amount collected by the Rotary members and he would donate half back to the club-as a Paul Harris Fellow donation. The meeting adjourned with congratulations and thanks to George.
